Currently, a major response is underway as multiple emergency crews are responding to a uranium fire at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Y-12 complex has confirmed that the material involved in the fire was a compound of uranium officials say the public is not in any danger.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE), 2022-02-22:

According to a release from the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration, the fire occurred at 9:14 a.m. Steven Wyatt with NNSA said that there was a hood fire in Building 9212, a uranium procession facility. The building and some nearby areas were evacuated.

Continuous air monitors in the area have not alerted officials to any release of radioactivity, Wyatt said. Officials said there are no impacts to the public and a shelter in-place order for employees was lifted around 11:30 a.m.

По поводу случившегося поспорили с golos_dobra. Этот оптимист сначала почему-то надеялся, что пытались запустить литиевый процесс (литий шесть, обновление дейтерия для термоядерных зарядов), а потом решил, что это жадные менеджеры резали расходы и вводили Deversity & Inclusion. Я же считаю, что это и есть высший уровень того, что на данный момент европейская техническая культура может достичь в смысле квалификации.

Совсем недавно в Огайо сошёл с рельс состав с винилхлоридом (который спасательные службы выпустили из пяти цистерн, чтобы избежать взрыва), но потом в другом месте в том же штате Огайо взрыв произошёл, но уже на заводе, переплавляющем лом цветных металлов.

This would never have happened if we were there. But he did. Chuck Todd asked that question. How come there was none of this happening during the Trump administration? I knew Putin very well. I got along with him great. He liked me. I liked him. I mean, you know, he’s a tough cookie, got a lot of the great charm and a lot of pride. But the way he — and he loves his country, you know? He loves his country. He’s acting a little differently I think now.

I think he sees this opportunity. I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it. I said, “You can’t do it. You’re not gonna do it.” But I could see that he wanted it. I used to ask him. We used to talk about it at length. I think nobody probably knows him better in terms of the discussions that we have or that we’re having this morning. So, I knew him very well. PRESIDENT TRUMP:
