Никогда бы не подумал, что исследования японских комиксов может таить в себе столько опасности. В рассылке мужик спросил про статьи по теме lolicon (roricon), сопроводив пространной декларацией о том, что он ищет только научные работы и ни в коем случае не блоги или какие-то неофициальные сайты.

But in this case, well, I have a knee-jerk reaction, since my background includes a lot of work in human sexuality research and publication (since the 1980s and earlier than that in animal sex behavior). For THIS topic (and some others) it is often the better course of wisdom to be very clear that I am NOT looking for "interesting blogs" -- which is coded shorthand for lolicon websites themselves, especially those with "interesting illustrations." I am occasionally asked about such websites, and I invariably tell the questioner to stay as far away from this stuff as they can. It's a widespread impression in sexuality research that all such websites are traps set up by the Feds or by your (not so friendly) local police. Don't click on a spam email that says it has "nearly nude teenagers." Paranoia? Of course. But -- paranoia can keep you out of jail.

И, естественно, ни один американский учёный не рискнёт хранить у себя объекты своих исследований. Потому как японские комиксы подобного рода в Штатах попадают под разряд детской порнографии. А для суда научные цели - не оправдание.
